Five things you may not know about Two Way Cranes

To say that 2019 was a big year for us here at Two Way Cranes would be an understatement.

2019 saw our family run business grow exponentially with the addition of new staff, new machines, and a mix of wonderful new clients and loyal existing ones.

Here’s five updates and changes that occured during 2019 that you may not know about!

1) Our fleet is larger than ever!

We are now proud to say Two Way Cranes boasts 35 mobile cranes, and for those who may not be completely up to date with our inventory these include Franna cranes, rough terrains, city cranes and crawlers – plus support trucks and trailers.

And with premium makes including Grove, Liebherr, Kobelco, Maeda and Terex cranes, our vehicles are robust and 100% reliable.

Despite the growing size of the fleet Co-Owner Frank Zammit remains committed to the high standards Two Way Cranes has been built on.

“I’m the first to admit I have an obsession with quality and safety. I personally oversee all the cranes in my yard, and you’ll often find me in the driver’s seat on-site, leading the team and maintaining the high standards we demand for our clients.”

2) Ability to service more clients in a shorter time frame

In addition to the fleet, the staff at Two Way Cranes – or team Two Way as they are known – has now grown to a team of over 100.

We’ve increased the size of our team to ensure we can take the very best care of both our loyal existing clients as well as those who are new the the Two Way Cranes family.

“My team and I all do whatever it takes to get the job done right, and that all starts with hiring the right people,” says Co-Owner Nichole Zammit.

Frank and I have always believed that you need to hire good people first, then invest the time into training each one how to do things the right way… the Two Ways way!”

This means we are proudly able to service more clients at once on shorter time frames, field and execute your requests with even greater accuracy, and are able to continue our focus on raising the already high reputation for customer service that Two Way Cranes was built on.

3) A commitment to becoming 100% CrewSafe Certified

In addition to customer service, we have an equally high reputation for our commitment to safety.

The security and wellbeing of our clients’ people – as well as our own – remains our priority. And that’s why we never compromise on safety.

All of our crane operators are, or are in the process of becoming, fully CrewSafe certified – a commitment we continue to maintain into 2020 and beyond.

This means that every team member we send on a job is exceptionally experienced and qualified to deliver the best possible service in the safest possible way.

We place OHS and WHS at the forefront of every project. Our client managers conduct a full risk assessment in consultation with your team. We provide a High Risk Work Method Statement (HRWMS) including CAD site drawings, lift plans and (when required) satellite images to confirm crane position and operation plans.

4) A suite of specialty services

With over 20 years’ industry experience, a qualified and certified team and an immense fleet, we’re experts in adaptable mobile crane and speciality lifting solutions.

For those new to our business we offer a full suite of services including complete project management for crane hire, material handling and specialised lifting solutions with detailed site inspections and safety planning.
